According to reports, Mohisan Naqvi while talking to reporters in Karachi said that ACC has informed BCCI that a formal ceremony will be organized in Dubai on November 10 to hand over the trophy to India.

According to Dawn reports, Naqvi is adamant on handing over the trophy personally after the chaos after the final between Pakistan and India last month.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Told the media in Karachi that several letters have been exchanged with BCCI and the Asian Cricket Council has informed them that we can organize a ceremony in Dubai on November 10. In this we have invited Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav and his team, as well as BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla.

He told, “ACC has written to BCCI that a ceremony can be organized in Dubai on November 10. Bring your captain and players and receive the trophy from me”. Meanwhile, BCCI is considering raising this issue in the meetings of ICC and ACC. The ICC Board meeting is scheduled to be held in Dubai from 4 to 7 November. ICC President is former BCCI Secretary Jai Shah. The Asia Cup trophy is kept at the ACC headquarters.
