New Delhi: The third and final match of the three-match ODI series between India and Australia will be played in Sydney. Although the series has already been won by Australia the Indian team now faces the challenge of salvaging some pride. Under the captaincy of Shubman Gill Team India put up a spirited fight in Adelaide but couldnt secure a victory. Now all eyes are on whether coach Gautam Gambhir will make some significant changes in the final ODI. Will Kuldeep Yadav get a chance? After being left out of the first two matches of the series there is much speculation about Kuldeep Yadavs return. Considering the spin-friendly pitch in Sydney it is believed that the team management might give him an opportunity. Washington Sundar has impressed with the ball but hasnt contributed much with the bat. In such a scenario the decision to include Kuldeep in place of Sundar could prove crucial. The right time to give Yashasvi Jaiswal a chance Yashasvi Jaiswal who hasnt yet cemented his place in all three formats could be a key option in this match. His aggressive batting could give the team a new dimension. Shubman Gill has been playing continuous cricket and will also participate in the upcoming T20 series so he could be rested giving Jaiswal a chance to open the innings. This decision could also be beneficial for the teams long-term balance. It’s Possibly Virat and Rohit’s Last Appearance in Australia The Sydney ODI could also mark the end of an era as it might be the last time Indian stalwarts Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma play an ODI match in Australia. Both veterans have been struggling in the ongoing series  Kohli uncharacteristically recorded two ducks in the first two games and managed only 10 runs overall. His struggles with timing and shot selection have sparked discussions about his form and future in the 50-over format. Rohit Sharma on the other hand showed glimpses of his old self in Adelaide scoring a fighting 73 runs under pressure. However his failure to convert that innings into a match-winning knock added to India’s woes. Over the years both have produced countless memorable performances on Australian soil but this series has reminded fans that time may be catching up. As India takes the field in Sydney fans are expected to fill the stands to witness what could be a final Australian chapter in the legendary duo’s careers. Changes expected in the bowling attack Harshit Rana has struggled to find his rhythm in the series. In Bumrahs absence the Indian bowling attack looks weak. In such a situation giving Prasidh Krishna a chance in the final ODI could be a better strategic move. His experience and control could help the team gain an early advantage. Time to find a new combination in batting? Even though the series is lost the Sydney ODI is a platform for India to test both their confidence and combination. Coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shubman Gill have an opportunity to prepare the right combination for the upcoming tournaments. Story Highlights: The third and final ODI between India and Australia will be played in Sydney. Kuldeep Yadav might get a chance in place of Washington Sundar. Yashasvi Jaiswal is likely to open the innings in place of Shubman Gill. Prasidh Krishna could be included in the team in place of Harshit Rana.
