YouTube Shorts Income Per View: YouTube Shorts is on everyone's lips these days. People are earning lakhs of rupees by making short videos. If you're passionate about video-making and want to earn money through your creativity, YouTube Shorts is a great earning opportunity for you. But the question is, how do you earn money from Shorts, and how many views are required?

First, to earn money from YouTube Shorts, you need to be a part of the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). There are certain requirements for this.

Earnings can start with 1000 subscribers.
Your channel must have at least 1000 subscribers. Additionally, you must have either 4000 hours of public watch time in the last 12 months or 10 million views on your Shorts videos in the last 90 days. Even if you don't have 1000 subscribers, there are still opportunities. You must have 500 subscribers, 3 public video uploads in the last 90 days, and 3,000 hours of watch time or 3 million Shorts views. Only if you meet these requirements can you apply for monetization.

How to earn money from YouTube Shorts?
To start earning money, first sign in to YouTube.

Then click on your profile picture and go to YouTube Studio.

Click on the 'Earn' option on the left. If you're eligible, the 'Apply' button will appear.

If not, click 'Get Notified' and complete the requirements. Then click 'Start', read the YouTube terms, and select 'Accept'.

You'll then need to link your AdSense account.

If you don't have an AdSense account, create a new one. YouTube will then review your application, which may take up to a month.

Upon approval, go to Studio and accept the Shorts monetization module.

How do you earn money for views on YouTube Shorts?

YouTube Shorts' ad revenue sharing program pays based on the number of views your videos receive. Creators receive a portion of the revenue generated from ads running between Shorts. The remaining revenue goes toward things like music licensing. A creator receives 45 percent of the total earnings. In terms of revenue, you can earn $0.05 to $0.07 per 1,000 views, or approximately ₹4-₹6. If your Shorts receive 1 million views, you can earn $50-₹70, or ₹4,000-₹6,000.

You can also earn money through the YouTube Super Thanks feature. This is like a tip from your subscribers for liking your content. But remember, short videos' earnings may be lower than longer videos. However, if you create viral shorts, such as funny, emotional, or trending content, the views can easily reach millions.
