Strictly Come Dancing made headlines when it was announced presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman would be leaving the show at the end of the year. The BBC show has also been embroiled in a fix row after viewers were left fuming with Sunday night's elimination. It comes after fans bid farewell to Chris Robshaw and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova who were voted out of the competition following a dance off with Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon. But it was La Voix who caused a stir after her Cha Cha Cha footwork performance alongside Aljaz Skorjanec on Saturday left the judges less than impressed. They scored just 14 points and ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Former show professional Brendan Cole shared his thoughts on last week's competition in a scathing review. The 49 year old was a regular on the show from its launch in 2004 until 2018. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk on behalf of Sky Vegas the on-screen star claimed Strictly has "been all over the place this year".

"I'm not sure why Balvinder [Sopal] keeps ending up in the dance-off," he commented. "Last week her performance was atrocious - the choreography and the way it was danced were both poor. But this week wasn't bad at all.

It was quite a good Paso Doble. She did a decent job with what she was given, so I was surprised to see her in the bottom two again. There are definitely weaker dancers in the competition."

Brendan continued: "The whole competition this year feels a bit all over the place. Everyone's bringing something different - like La Voix, who did a terrible Cha Cha. It was entertaining, but technically awful. Even some of the stronger dancers are starting to falter but they are somehow still getting high marks.

"It's hard to call who ends up in the bottom because the marks don't always reflect the quality. In the end, viewers just vote for who they like."

It comes after Strictly descended into a fresh "fix" row after fans claimed the wrong celebrity was sent home.

The drag queen's performance not only received dreadful votes, but judge Shirley Ballas said she "can't judge" their routine whatsoever.

But some viewers have called for La Voix to remain in the competition due to her on-screen banter with Strictly presenter Tess Daly.

"La Voix needs to stay in for her bants with Tess," one wrote on X.
