Moradabad:- The issue of demanding virginity certificate from the family members of the girl student in Madrasa has gained momentum. After the news was published on Purdafash News, the police have registered a case and arrested a person. Now the administration has also started investigation in this matter. On Saturday, on the instructions of the District Officer, a three-member team led by SDM Sadar Rammohan Meena reached the Madrasa and conducted a detailed investigation. Apart from SDM Sadar, the investigation team included District School Inspector (DIOS) Devendra Kumar Pandey and District Minority Welfare Officer Dilip Kumar (Sambhal). The officials inspected Jamia Asanul Banat Girls Madrasa and interrogated the management.
Madrasa Secretary Arbab Shamsi showed the documents to the Madrasa to the team. Investigation revealed that three institutions namely Biological Girls Inter College, AIA Educational Society and AIA Dawa Academy are running in the Madrasa premises. Officials said that the documents of all the institutions are being examined. Further action will be taken after the authenticity of the documents and recognition status of the institution becomes clear. The investigation team remained present in the madrasa till late evening. The district administration says that any complaint of unfair treatment to any student or family member or forcibly demanding documents is a serious matter. If the allegations are found true then strict action will be taken against the institute.

When SP City Kumar Ranvijay Singh investigated the matter, it was found to be true because when the management committee and the madrasa staff were interrogated separately, their statements were different. On the basis of this, Shahjahan who is in charge of the admission cell has been arrested. Efforts are being made to arrest Rahnuma Principal and other staff. For further investigation, the concerned department has reached the Madrasa for investigation.
What is the whole matter :-
A resident of Chandigarh had admitted his daughter in class 7 in 2024 in Jamia Asanul Banat Girls Madrasa in front of Lodhipur Rajput CNG Pump in Pakbada police station area of Moradabad district. The father used to pick his daughter from the madrasa during holidays and drop her back to the madrasa. In the same year 2025, the daughter has passed class 7 examination and came in class 8. Jamia Madrasa Management Committee had collected about Rs 35,000 from the applicant. When the victim’s in-laws’ house in Allahabad got the news of a relative being ill, the victim’s wife went to her in-laws house saying that they should take a few days leave from Madrasa and call their daughter home so that there would be no problem regarding household work and food etc. On July 16, he brought his daughter home from the madrassa. On August 21, when the victim’s wife came home from her maternal home and went to the Madrasa to drop her daughter, the Shahjahan Admission Cell Incharge and Rahnuma Principal posted in the Madrasa and other staff did not allow my wife to enter the Madrasa and said that first bring her virginity certificate. When my wife said that my daughter is a minor and objected to the medical treatment, the Shahjahan Admission Cell Incharge posted there. And Rahnuma Principal and other staff abused my wife and misbehaved with her and pushed her out of the Madrasa and said that if she brought her daughter to the Madrasa again, the consequences would be bad. You forcefully pressurized my daughter to get TC done and also grabbed Rs 500 in the name of TC and neither gave TC nor said that your daughter will not be allowed to enter Madrasa again. The madrasa manager is making dirty allegations against my daughter’s character. Mentally broken family, complaint submitted to SSP. Hurt by the incident, the family immediately submitted a complaint to Moradabad SSP Satpal Antil, seriously accusing the Madrasa management of violating the honor and rights of the student, indecency and mental harassment.
