The Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY) has announced the availability of 210 apprentice positions. Interested individuals can submit their applications offline until November 23, 2025, with a stipend reaching up to ₹9,600.

The recruitment notification from NSRY was officially released on October 24, 2025, marking the start of the application process. Candidates have until November 23, 2025, to seize this remarkable opportunity.

The recruitment will fill a total of 210 apprentice roles, primarily based at naval facilities in Karwar (Karnataka) and Goa. A significant number of these positions are designated for one-year training in Karwar, with additional apprenticeship opportunities available at the Naval Aircraft Yard in Goa.

Qualifications Needed

Applicants must possess an 8th, 10th, or ITI qualification from a recognized institution. It's crucial to review the specific eligibility criteria for each position detailed in the official notification before applying.

Age Requirements

Candidates must be between 14 and 18 years old. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government regulations.

Selection Procedure

The selection process consists of three phases: a written examination, an interview, and document verification. The written test will feature 100 questions covering mathematics, science, and general knowledge, lasting 2 hours. Notably, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Stipend Details

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹3,400 to ₹9,600, depending on the specific role and training duration. This training will equip candidates with essential technical and practical skills in a structured naval environment, beneficial for their future careers.
