We may have eaten soybeans many times, but few people know that they can be used to make delicious kebabs. Its kebabs taste amazing and are beneficial for health due to the amount of nutrients it contains. If you too are looking for a guilt free dish, this is it today Recipe It’s for you. Materials:

  • Soya chunks (nuggets) – 1 cup
  • Boiled potatoes – 2 medium
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Green Chillies – 2 finely chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Coriander – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Red Chilli – ½ tsp
  • Coriander-cumin powder – ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Cornflour or breadcrumbs – 2 tbsp
  • Oil – for frying

Action:

  • For this first soak the soya chunks in hot water for 10 minutes. After that drain the water and squeeze it well to remove excess water.
  • Add the soaked soya chunks to the mixer and grind to a thick paste.
  • In a bowl, add soya chunks, boiled potatoes, onion, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, coriander, spices,
  • Mix together the salt and lemon juice.
  • Add cornflour or breadcrumbs to keep the mixture thick. Mix all the ingredients well and let it simmer for a while.
  • Now take a small amount of the mixture with your hands and make kebabs in the shape of a round or in the shape of your choice.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and shallow fry the kebabs on medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides.
  • Serve the Soya Kebab hot with green chutney, onion and lime wedges.
  • You can also bake the kebabs in the oven or air fryer if you want.
