BJP vs AAP on Yamuna: The ongoing war of words between BJP and AAP party regarding the cleaning of Yamuna on Chhath Mahaparva has now come to ground reporting. First, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta and MLA Ravi Negi claimed cleanliness after knowing about Yamuna Ghat. After this, AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj came into the field and made many sensational claims, cornering the Rekha Gupta government.
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has claimed that ‘fake Yamuna’ is being built in Delhi for PM Modi’s Chhath Puja bath. AAP state president Saurabh Bhardwaj claimed that Rekha Gupta’s government is creating a fake Yamuna of clean water for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In which clean water brought from Wazirabad is being stolen and poured through a pipe. Whereas for poor Purvanchalis Yamuna remains polluted.
While sharing the video, he also claimed that we know that due to Bihar elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Vasudev Ghat on the occasion of Chhath. He said that to woo Purvanchali voters, Narendra Modi will go and take a dip at Vasudev Ghat of Yamuna. Yamuna water is polluted, hence a fake ghat is being built from the drinking water pipeline. He also said that the BJP government is not concerned about the poor Purvanchalis. While sharing the video of the fake ghat, Saurabh Bhardwaj wrote that all the records of the fake ghat were broken. Also said that a fake Yamuna with filtered water has been created for the PM and in Delhi there is a Yamuna with polluted sewage for the poor Purvanchali people.
To hide one lie you have to tell 100 lies.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said in a press conference that if you tell one lie, you have to tell 100 lies to hide it. Today this phrase suits BJP well. BJP government lied that Yamuna was cleaned. We never said to clean Yamuna, he himself gave the certificate that Yamuna was cleaned within a year.
He claimed that BJP has just removed the foam by adding chemicals. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that when our government used to put chemicals, BJP used to oppose it. The same Pravesh Verma’s department puts the same chemical in Yamuna. Even after adopting all the tactics, Yamuna has not been cleaned. The DPCC report says that the water is not fit for drinking, leave alone bathing. There is feces mixed in this water, tomorrow they can also say that this feces is good and nutritious.
