Students gearing up for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam are keenly awaiting the commencement of the application process.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is anticipated to launch the application process shortly. Once it opens, candidates will be able to complete and submit their application forms via the official website. However, the exact date for the start of registration has yet to be announced.

When the application process is initiated, candidates can follow these steps to fill out their application forms:

1. Visit the official JEE website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

2. Click on the 'JEE Main Session 1 Registration' link available on the homepage.

3. Register your details before proceeding to fill out the application form.

4. After completing the application form, review it carefully and submit.

5. Download the confirmation page for your records.

6. Finally, print a copy of the application.

The JEE Main 2026 January session is slated to take place from January 21 to January 30, 2026. The April session is scheduled for April 1 to April 10, 2026, with the application process expected to commence in the last week of January on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Documents that need to be updated include:

• Aadhaar Card: Ensure the Aadhaar card has the correct name, date of birth (matching Class 10 certificate), recent photograph, address, and father's name.


• UDID Card: The UDID card should be valid and updated as necessary.


• Category Certificate: Ensure the category certificate (EWS/SC/ST/OBC) is current and valid.
