Nevad: Audie Eckert, a 22-year-old from Nebraska, has been crowned Miss America 2025 at a dazzling ceremony held in the US state of Nevada. She triumphed over contestants from across all 50 states in the 74th edition of the Miss America pageant.

According to foreign media reports, Eckert currently works as a social media and marketing coordinator for a local company. Her victory is being hailed as a fresh chapter for the Miss America organization, which has undergone significant administrative reforms in recent years.

Eckert is not new to the spotlight — she previously served as part of the Husker cheerleading squad and is widely recognized for her advocacy on digital safety and responsible online behavior.

The new Miss America’s coronation comes after several controversies in past years. In 2023, Noelia Vogt from Utah resigned from her title, sparking debate over the pageant’s management and transparency.

Audie Eckert’s crowning, however, has brought renewed excitement and optimism to the competition. Despite some lighthearted online jokes about her makeup during the event, she has received overwhelming praise for her grace, confidence, and inspiring personality.

Eckert will now go on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe competition to be held in Thailand on November 21, 2025.
