 
            Chhattisgarh News: It is a matter of pride for the people of the state to mention Chhattisgarh’s innovations and resolve to eradicate Maoism in the program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi made special mention of Ambikapur’s ‘Garbage Café’ and the achievement of Indian breed dogs, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai called it an honor for the entire state. The Chief Minister today listened to the 127th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in Shanti Nagar of the capital Raipur. Chief Minister Sai, while wishing Chhath festival, said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a special platform connecting the innovative, inspirational and public welfare works happening across the country, which gives national identity to the efforts that bring positive change in the society. He said that mention of Chhattisgarh in the program is a matter of pride for every citizen.
Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the unique initiative ‘Garbage Café’ of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation, which has set an example towards a plastic-free city. Here, food is provided to those who donate plastic waste – this initiative has become a wonderful example of cleanliness, recycling and social sensitivity. A unique initiative has been taken in Ambikapur to clean the plastic waste from the city. Garbage cafes are being run in Ambikapur. These are such cafes, where a full meal is served while carrying plastic waste. If a person carries one kilogram of plastic, he gets lunch or dinner and if someone carries half a kilogram of plastic, he gets breakfast. This cafe is run by Ambikapur Municipal Corporation.
Chief Minister Sai said that the Prime Minister mentioned the increased splendor of festivals, Chhath festival symbolizing social unity and the spirit of India moving forward with new confidence. He said that he feels proud at the shrinking influence of Maoist activities. The strong resolve of the double engine government is yielding remarkable results towards peace and security in the country. He said that through the Niyad Nella Naar scheme, basic facilities are now reaching remote villages. The Chief Minister said that ‘Operation Sindoor’ has filled every Indian with pride. This time, lamps of happiness have been lit even in those areas where once there was darkness of Maoist terror. He said that people want to root out the Maoist terror which had put the future of their children in danger.
Chief Minister Vishnu Sai further said that the Prime Minister also appreciated the decision to include Indian breed of dogs in security agencies. Giving an example, he said that in the Maoist affected area of Chhattisgarh, a native dog saved the lives of soldiers by detecting 8 kg of explosives. This proves that Indian breed dogs are more friendly, efficient and reliable. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also laid special emphasis on nature conservation and urged all citizens to plant trees and appealed to join the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. He said that environmental innovations need to be taken forward as a mass movement.
Chief Minister Sai said that the Prime Minister called for celebrating the completion of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’ as a festival. Describing it as an immortal expression of patriotism, he appealed to every citizen to spontaneously participate in its glorification. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid tribute to Lord Birsa Munda by remembering his supreme contribution in the struggle for tribal rights and freedom. He said that Tribal Pride Day is a day to express gratitude to those great public leaders who sacrificed everything for the freedom and honor of the country. Chief Minister Sai said that the Prime Minister has appealed to the countrymen to share the innovations and positive efforts happening around them, so that others can also take inspiration from them and contribute to the welfare of the society.
Chief Minister fed fodder to cows of Punganur breed
After the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai fed fodder to the cows of Punganur breed and inquired about their characteristics. It is noteworthy that this special breed found in Andhra Pradesh is famous due to its unique physical structure and special qualities. MLA Purandar Mishra, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Rajiv Aggarwal, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Mati Art Board Shambhunath Chakraborty, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Minority Commission Amarjeet Chhabra and many public representatives were also present in the program.
