Nevada: Miss USA 2025 was won by Audy Eckert, a Nebraska model who is 22 years old. She was crowned during the 74th edition of the pageant in Nevada. Eckert will represent the US at the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand on November 21.
According to international media, 50 contestants from across the United States participated in this year’s pageant, with Eckert impressing judges with her poise, confidence, and advocacy work. Professionally, she works as a social media and marketing coordinator for a local company but has long pursued modeling alongside her career.
Witnesses point out that Eckert’s win is viewed as a new beginning for Miss USA, which had been marred with controversies in recent years. In 2023, Utah winner Neivela Vogt resigned a short while after her win, prompting organizers to institute several reforms to the event.
Eckert’s experience consists of her stint as a member of the old Husker cheer squad. She has also been involved in online safety and awareness campaigns on online security, showing her dedication to advocacy work beyond the pageant platform. Officials indicate that she plans to carry these forward while carrying out her duties as Miss USA.
The crowning moment included a glitzy ceremony in Nevada, where the contestants flaunted their talent, evening gowns, and interviews. Eckert’s win was cheered for blending beauty, brains, and social awareness, values organizers highlight as pivotal to the Miss USA franchise.
With her victory, Eckert becomes the latest American delegate to extend a string of success at Miss Universe. Her participation in next month’s international competition in Thailand is set to gain a lot of attention, not only for her stage presence but also for her campaign work in online safety and empowerment of young women.

Pageant officials emphasized that Miss USA 2025 is a testament to resilience and advancement of the competition for the pageant, which mirrors changing values of inclusivity, social consciousness, and accountability among participants. Eckert’s win upholds the pageant’s emphasis on merging classic aspects of beauty with cause-oriented projects.
Eckert will subsequently start training for the Miss Universe 2025 pageant, where she will compete with contestants from all over the world, bringing the United States to the global stage.
