A newly married woman from Rohat village of Sonipat has made serious allegations against her husband and in-laws. She says that she is being physically and mentally tortured if her dowry demand is not met. Not only this, pressure was also put on her to have unnatural sex with him. In this matter, the police have registered a complaint and started investigation.

Lakhs spent on marriage, yet demand for dowry The girl told the police that she was married to a young man named Anil on August 18. Her parents spent Rs 20-22 lakh on the wedding and gave Rs 5 lakh in cash for the car. But soon after the marriage, the in-laws started demanding a car, gold jewelery and other valuables as dowry. When she and her family refused to pay more dowry, the true face of her in-laws was revealed.

A series of assaults and abuses The woman said that when her dowry demand was not met, her husband and in-laws started abusing, beating and misbehaving with her. He also made serious allegations against his father-in-law. She says that her father-in-law keeps an evil eye on her and tries to touch her inappropriately whenever he gets a chance.

Cruel face of husband: unnatural relationship while drunk The girl also revealed that her husband forcibly had unnatural sex with her while under the influence of alcohol. When she protests, he beats her brutally. Not only this, to further harass her, her in-laws have also filed a divorce case against her in the family court of Chhattisgarh.

Police started investigation Taking immediate action on the complaint of the newlywed, the police have registered a case against husband Anil and other in-laws in Mohana police station under sections 85, 115(2), 316(2), 74, 351(2) and 3(5) of the Indian Justice Code.
