The 21st instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will soon be credited to farmers’ accounts. Through this scheme, the central government provides financial assistance of ₹6,000 to farmers annually to help with their farming and daily needs. So far, 20 instalments have been released, and millions of farmers are eagerly awaiting the 21st instalment, expected in early November 2025.

When will the 21st instalment be received?

According to reports, the next instalment of the PM Kisan Yojana, the 21st instalment, may be released in the first fortnight of November 2025. However, the government has not yet announced an official date. The previous, 20th, instalment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2025, benefiting 98 million farmers, including 24 million women farmers. Typically, this scheme releases one inininstalmentr months in February, June, and October-November. Therefore, it is likely that farmers may receive the 21st instalment in November.

Since the election code of conduct is currently in effect in Bihar, farmers are wondering whether the government can release instalments during this period. Experts say the government cannot announce new schemes, but it can continue payments under previously approved schemes. This means that funds from existing schemes like PM Kisan can continue to flow into farmers’ accounts without interruption.

Is KYC and eligibility verification required?

Yes, farmers must complete e-KYC to receive payments. OTP or biometric KYC can be done by logging in to the PM Kisan portal.

How to check PM Kisan benefits?

Step 1: Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2: Click on Know Your Status on the right.

Step 3: Enter your registration number, enter the captcha code, and select Get Data.

Your instalment status will now be displayed on the screen.

To check your name:

Click on the Beneficiary List tab on the website.

Select your state, district, block, and village.

Click on Get Report.

This will open a list of all beneficiaries in your village.
