-Curd – 1 cup (slightly thick and cooled)
-Cucumber – 1 (finely chopped)
-Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
-Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
-Carrot – 1 (grated)
-Green chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
-Coriander leaves – small quantity (finely chopped)
-Salt – as per taste
-Roasted cumin powder – half teaspoon
-Black pepper powder – half teaspoon
-Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Apart from all these things, if you want, you can also add some peanut powder, chaat masala or boiled sweet corn.
1. First of all, put curd in a big bowl. Now beat it well with a whisk or spoon so that the curd becomes completely smooth and creamy.
2. Now add cucumber, tomato, onion and carrot. Add all the fresh vegetables and drain the water so that the curd does not become thin.
3. Then add green chilli, salt, roasted cumin and black pepper, if you want to add chaat masala then you can add it at this step.
4. Mix everything well so that the curd and spices coat the vegetables properly.
5. Now squeeze some lemon juice on top and add chopped coriander.
6. If you want, keep it in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes so that the salad cools down slightly.
