Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries-- Indias most valued domestic firm-- has partnered with tech giant Google to boost AI adoption in India and has announced slew of collaborations in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) space including free Google AI Pro access to Jio users. In a release Reliance announced that its subsidiary Reliance Intelligence Limited and Google have inked an expansive strategic partnership with Google to accelerate AI adoption in India in line with the companys AI for All vision. One of the highlights of the Reliance-Google partnership is the free access to Google AI pro plan for select Jio users which will provide users with unlimited free access to advanced versions of Googles  latest AI tools including Gemini 2.5 Pro higher limits to generate stunning images and videos with the state-of-the-art Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 models. The Google AI Pro plan also includes extended access to Notebook LM for study and research 2 TB of cloud storage and more. Who is eligible for Jios free Google AI Pro offer? According to the release the offer will initially be rolled out 18- to 25-year-old Jio users on unlimited 5G plans and will be swiftly expanded to every Jio customer nationwide. Under the offer eligible Jio users will get a free 18-month subscription to Googles AI Pro plan and will be able to access advanced features and capabilities offered by Googles wide range of AI tools via the Gemini app including its most capable Gemini 2.5 Pro model. The subscription is worth Rs 35100. Eligible Jio users can activate the offer via the MyJio app on their smart devices. The partnership will also explore bringing more delightful local experiences powered by AI to Jio users catering to India’s rich cultural and linguistic diversity the Mukesh Ambani-owned company said. Reliance to bring Google AI tools to Indian businesses Additionally Reliances collaboration with Google also aims to boosting AI innovation and building multi-GW clean energy-powered state-of-the-art sovereign compute capabilities using Google’s AI Hardware Accelerators with enhanced access to its Tensor Processing Units (TPUs). This will enable more organizations to train and deploy larger more complex AI models as well as deliver faster inferencing to help execute highly demanding projects and accelerate AI adoption across the broader India AI ecosystem. It will also strengthen India’s national AI backbone supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modis vision to make India a global AI powerhouse the company said. Further Reliance plans to bring Gemini Enterprise Googles unified agentic AI platform for businesses to Indian companies and establishing Reliance Intelligence as a strategic go-to-market partner for Google Cloud. Reliance Intelligence will also develop and offer its own pre-built enterprise AI agents in Gemini Enterprise expanding the available choice of both Google-built and third-party agents to users.
