Well, the future just arrived.

The wait is officially over, as the very first model from that exciting lineup, the Mahindra BE.05 electric SUVhas started quietly rolling into dealership showrooms across the country. This isn’t a test mule or a concept vehicle anymore. This is the real deal, the final production model, and its arrival signals that customer deliveries are just around the corner.

A Head-Turner from Every Angle

Based on the first images surfacing online, Mahindra has delivered on its promise of a futuristic design. The BE.05 looks like it has been teleported from the year 2030. With its sharp, aggressive lines, massive alloy wheels, and those unmistakable C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), it’s a vehicle that commands attention. The dashboard is dominated by a massive, seamless single-panel screen that integrates both the digital driver’s display and the central infotainment system. What’s Powering This Electric Beast?

The BE.05 is built on Mahindra’s brand-new, state-of-the-art INGLO platformwhich is designed specifically for electric vehicles. While Mahindra is keeping the final specification cards close to its chest, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect:

• Battery and Range: The SUV is expected to come with a battery pack of around 60kWh, offering a very impressive claimed range of over 450 kilometers on a single charge.
• Performance: True to its sporty looks, the BE.05 is expected to be a strong performer. There will likely be options for both a front-wheel-drive (FWD) and a more powerful all-wheel-drive (AWD) version.
