UP NEET UG 2025 Round 3: The Uttar Pradesh Department of Medical Education and Training has informed that the seat allocation results for the third round of UP NEET UG 2025 have been postponed until further orders. The results were scheduled to be released on October 27th, but have been put on hold following instructions from the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

This decision was taken in accordance with the Supreme Court's order in WP No. 223, Shubhekar Patnaik vs. K. Ramesh Reddy & Others. The court directed all state counseling committees to filter out candidates who have already been selected for All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

What did the MCC say?
The MCC stated that the results for the third round of NEET UG counseling 2025 have already been released, and withdrawals are not allowed in this round. Therefore, all state counseling authorities have been asked to filter out AIQ Round 3 candidates before processing the third round of seats. This will prevent previously selected students from receiving double seats. State authorities will be able to download the list of such candidates from the MCC portal after November 1, 2025.

NEET UG registration process continued until October 15th
Registration for NEET UG Round 3, along with payment of registration fees and security deposits by candidates, was completed by October 15th, at 2:00 PM. The revised merit list was released on October 16th, after which online choice filling was conducted from October 17th, at 2:00 PM, to October 24th, at 11:00 AM.
