Harmanpreet Kaur Statement after Semifinal: The Indian women’s cricket team led by Harmanpreet Kaur has entered the final of the World Cup 2025. Last Wednesday i.e. on 30th October, India got the ticket for the decisive match by defeating Australia in the semi-finals. While chasing the target of 339 runs, the Indian batsmen did not falter, Jemima scored a century and Harman also contributed with a fifty. After this victory, Captain Kaur says that any player can win the match in any situation.
Defeating 7-time champion Australia in the semi-finals is no light task. Harmanpreet Kaur’s team has done this, after the match the Indian captain said that there is a belief among the team that any player can win the match under any circumstances. He said,
“We keep telling each other that we have to work hard, I am proud of this team. We fully believe that any player in the team can win in any situation. We made mistakes in the previous matches, we learned from them and won today.”
The biggest contribution to India’s victory was from Jemimah Rodrigues, who played an unbeaten inning of 127 runs in 134 balls in the target of 339 runs. After the victory, Harmanpreet Kaur also praised Jemima fiercely and said that she always had faith in Jemima. He said,
Along with this, let us tell you that the final match between India and South Africa will be played on November 2 at Divya Patil Stadium, for the third time Team India has entered the final. Earlier, they had missed the trophy in the years 2005 and 2017.
