At Vijayapura toll plaza in Karnataka, Samarth Gouda Patil, son of BJP leader Vijayagouda Patil, assaulted a toll booth employee after being asked to pay the toll. When the worker said he didn’t recognize his father, Samarth shouted, 'Do you know who my father is?' before attacking him.
