    In the three-match T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa, after South Africa won the first match, Pakistan has made a comeback in this series. The second match of the T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa was played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and invited South Africa to bat first.

Donovan Ferreira’s side fared poorly in batting, scoring just 110 runs in 19.2 overs. Pakistan won the match in 13.1 overs losing just one wicket. After this crucial match, the series is tied at 1-1. The South African team performed very disappointingly in yesterday’s match. Pakistan’s bowling performance was good in yesterday’s match.

South Africa’s batting failed miserably

South Africa, who lost the toss and decided to bat first, could not even open their account. Experienced wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock and Tony De Giorgi scored 7 runs each. Dewald Brevis played a crucial knock of 25 runs, while skipper Donovan Ferreira scored 15 runs. Apart from these two, nobody else managed to score even 15 runs, leaving the team bundled out for just 110 runs. Faheem Ashraf took 4 wickets and Salman Mirza took 3 wickets for Pakistan. Naseem Shah took 2 wickets, while Abrar Ahmed also took 1 wicket.

Pakistan staged a remarkable comeback after a crushing defeat in the first T20I. Chasing a small target, Sahibzada Farhan scored 28 runs for Pakistan. Meanwhile, Sam Ayub’s bat finally came into action after a long time and he scored an unbeaten 71 off just 38 balls. Ayub hit six fours and five towering sixes while playing at a strike rate of 186.84. Babar Azam scored just 11 runs off 18 balls. However, despite this, Pakistan won the match by nine wickets with 41 balls to spare. The third and final match of the series will be played on November 1 at the same ground, where the winner will be decided.
