Sweet and sour tamarind chutney is made from many different ingredients like jaggery, garlic etc. Tamarind chutney is easily available in the market. Materials:

  • tamarind
  • Garlic
  • salt
  • green chilies
  • Peanuts
  • jaggery
  • Coriander
  • Oil
  • Bor Chili

Action:

  • To make tamarind chutney, firstly, wash the raw tamarind. Then remove the peel and cut the tamarind into fine pieces.
  • Add ground tamarind, garlic cloves, green chillies, peanuts, jaggery, coriander and a little water in a mixer bowl and grind the chutney finely.
  • Take the divided chutney in a large bowl. Do not add too much water while making the chutney.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste and bori chillies and mix well.
  • Add the prepared fodni and salt as per taste to the chutney and mix the chutney well. Sour sweet tamarind chutney made in easy way is ready.
