5 necessary documents for PM Kisan 21st installment

Aadhar card

This is the most important document. Your identity and bank linking is done only through Aadhaar Card. If your Aadhaar is not linked to the bank account, the payment may get stuck.

Your bank account (Bank Account Details) must be active and linked to Aadhaar. If wrong account number or IFSC code is entered, Rs 2,000 will not be transferred.

land documents

Only land owning farmers get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Therefore, update your Khasra-Khatauni or Land Ownership Proof information on the portal.

mobile number

Active mobile number (Registered Mobile Number) is necessary for OTP verification and e-KYC on PM Kisan Portal. Verification may fail if the number is incorrect or closed.

e-KYC update

This is the most important step. The names of farmers who have not done e-KYC can be removed from the beneficiary list. You can get it done by visiting the official website https://pmkisan.gov.in or from CSC center.

How many farmers got benefit in the last installment?

The 20th installment was released in August 2025, in which Rs 2,000 was sent directly to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers. The government has now intensified the document verification campaign for the 21st installment so that farmers with incorrect data can be filtered.

How to check if name is not in PM Kisan list?

• First of all go to pmkisan.gov.in.
• Click on 'Beneficiary Status'.
• Enter your Aadhaar number or mobile number.
• Click on 'Get Data'.
• If your name is in the list, your installment will reach your account soon.
