Women's World Cup Final: The world has got a new champion in women's cricket. In the title match played on 2 November, the Indian women's team defeated South Africa by 52 runs. He has decided to give a huge prize money to the Indian women's team and coaching staff. This was announced by BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia.

Speaking to ANI, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said, "Ever since Jay Shah took over the reins of BCCI, he made many changes in women's cricket. Pay parity was also given attention. Last month, ICC Chairman Jay Shah increased the women's prize money by 300%. Earlier the prize money was $2.88 million, it has been increased to $14 million. All these steps have given a huge boost to women's cricket."
He further said that BCCI has also announced a reward of Rs 51 crore for the entire team - players, coaches and support staff. Apart from Rs 51 crore, Team India got a big profit.
