The weather has once again taken a turn in Uttarakhand. Today i.e. on 3rd November 2025, there was dense fog in many areas in the morning, which engulfed cities like Haldwani, Rudrapur, Kashipur and Jaspur. But an even bigger concern is the quality of the air, which has now become poisonous. The air in 6 cities including Dehradun, Haldwani, Haridwar, Rudrapur, Nainital and Jaspur has reached dangerous levels. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be dry, but fog and cold have increased the problems of the people. Come, let us know the latest information to weather and wind.

Fog in the plains, clouds in the mountains

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be fog in the plains of Uttarakhand this morning. Visibility may remain low in Haldwani, Rudrapur, Kashipur and Jaspur in the morning. Due to cold winds and increasing humidity, light to moderate fog may be seen. Those driving early in the morning have been advised to exercise caution as fog may reduce visibility on the roads. The Meteorological Department has not issued any warning at present, but people have been asked to remain alert.

The day will be pleasant, a mixture of sunshine and clouds

The weather will be pleasant during the day. There may be light clouds with bright sunshine. There is no possibility of rain, which will not cause any hindrance in tourism and everyday activities. The sky will be clear in the capital Dehradun, although light clouds may also be seen. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 16 degrees Celsius. Light fog may persist in the morning.

Poisonous air becomes a cause for concern

The air quality in six major cities of Uttarakhand—Dehradun, Haldwani, Haridwar, Rudrapur, Nainital and Jaspur—has deteriorated. Last Sunday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) had reached dangerous levels, due to which difficulty in breathing and health problems are increasing. The level of pollution in the air is increasing especially in the morning and evening. People are being advised to use masks and get information about AQI before going out.
