Darbhanga: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched a scathing attack on the opposition INDIA bloc while addressing a massive rally in Bihar’s Darbhanga. The BJP leader took a sharp jibe at the alliance, comparing its leaders to a new version of Mahatma Gandhi’s famous “three monkeys.”

In his characteristic fiery style, Yogi Adityanath said, “You must have heard of Mahatma Gandhi’s three monkeys, but today the INDIA alliance has three new ones Pappu, Tappu, and Appu. Pappu can’t speak the truth, Tappu can’t see what’s right, and Appu can’t hear the truth.”

The Chief Minister alleged that the opposition leaders refuse to acknowledge the development and welfare work done under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. “They can’t see, hear, or speak about the progress of the nation, so they spread lies and misinformation to mislead the people,” he added.

‘RJD-Congress Denied Welfare to the Poor’

Turning his attention to Bihar’s regional politics, CM Yogi strongly criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress, accusing them of neglecting the poor during their years in power. He said that under their governance, Bihar’s underprivileged were deprived of basic facilities like healthcare, education, and access to welfare schemes.

“When RJD ruled Bihar with Congress’ support, ration cards and welfare schemes never reached the poor. Before 2005, hospitals had no medicines, and poor patients often died without treatment,” he claimed, contrasting it with the NDA government’s efforts to improve healthcare and social benefits.

‘Congress Made Kashmir Disputed, PM Modi Restored Peace’

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also targeted Congress on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, accusing it of creating the region’s long-standing problems. “It was Congress that made Kashmir a disputed territory,” he said, crediting the Modi government for ending terrorism and restoring normalcy.

He cited the recent example of an actor visiting Kashmir after nearly three decades to highlight the return of peace and tourism. “It was Congress’ sin that forced Hindus to leave Kashmir. Today, people from Bihar and Mithila can travel and live there without fear,” he added.

‘Opposition Parties Are Anti-Ram’

CM Yogi further accused the INDIA bloc of being “anti-Ram” and disrespecting Hindu faith. “Congress once questioned the existence of Lord Ram and Mata Janaki, and even filed an affidavit in court denying their existence,” he alleged.

He also blamed the RJD for trying to obstruct the Ram Rath Yatra and criticized the Samajwadi Party for the police firing on Ram devotees in Ayodhya, saying, “They turned the holy city red with the blood of Ram bhakts.”

‘Bihar Suffered Under Jungle Raj’

Yogi Adityanath warned that the INDIA bloc could push Bihar back into lawlessness if it comes to power. “During RJD’s rule, Bihar witnessed more than 70 massacres. Caste violence, crime, and fear ruled the state. Daughters and businessmen were unsafe,” he said.

Accusing the opposition of dividing society and weakening national security, Yogi said the NDA stood for unity, faith, and development. “These parties divide people on caste lines, while we work to strengthen India’s security and prosperity,” he concluded.
