The 55th Kerala State Film Awards took place on November 3 recognizing excellence in Malayalam cinema. At the event Mammootty received the Best Actor award for his role in Bramayugam and Manjummel Boys helmed by Chidambaram S Poduval was named Best Film of 2024 and also bagged Best Director.
