New Delhi: Did you know that after the recent Android update, many smartphones have received a remarkable feature that allows you to connect two headphones simultaneously? Yes, the Android 16 update adds a new feature called Share Audio with Friend, which allows you to connect two Bluetooth headphones or earbuds to a single smartphone. However, this feature is currently available on only a few devices, and your phone may have names like Dual Audio, Audio Sharing, or Multi-Device Bluetooth.

Why is this feature so special?

In fact, with the introduction of this new feature, two people can now enjoy songs, podcasts, audiobooks, or movies simultaneously from just one phone. This feature is based on Bluetooth LE Audio technology and also offers the ability to share audio across multiple devices by scanning a QR code.

This means the group listening experience with friends will become even better. If you want, you can also create a shared playlist or enjoy your own private audio stream.

How to connect 2 headphones to 1 phone?

  • First go to your phone’s Settings.
  • Now open Bluetooth & Device Connections.
  • After this, bring the two headphones or earbuds that you want to connect into pairing mode.
  • After this, connect the first headphone.
  • Now pair the second headphone as well.
  • After this, you will get options like Dual Audio, Share Audio or Audio Output.
  • As soon as you turn it on, select both the headphones as Active Output.
  • By doing this, you can now share audio between two Bluetooth headphones from a single phone.
