Ingredients Needed
250 grams of flour
1 tablespoon of ghee
50 grams of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of cardamom powder
1 small bowl of finely chopped nuts
2 liters of full-cream milk
2 teaspoons of sugar
Saffron threads
1 teaspoon of slivered almonds and pistachios
Instructions to Prepare
- Begin by frying the flour in ghee until it takes on a pink hue.
- Next, mix in the sugar and a glass of water to create a thick pudding.
- Boil the milk with sugar and saffron until it reduces by half, then allow it to cool.
- Take a tablespoon of the pudding and spread it on your palm.
- Add a teaspoon of nuts in the center, seal the edges, and gently flatten it.
- Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a pan and fry until both sides are golden brown.
- Place these in the warm rabri.
- Finish by garnishing with slivers of pistachios and almonds before serving.
