India won the Men's ODI World Cup in 2011. And, won the Women's ODI World Cup in 2025. There was a gap of 14 years between the two. In 2011, after ending a long wait of 28 years, India won its second World Cup in 50 over format under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In the year 2025, the Indian women's cricket team won its first ODI World Cup under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur.
Now, if we talk about the similarities between the two World Cups played at a gap of 14 years, then the first similarity is that the city of Mumbai has witnessed the final matches of both.
