Irrigation scheme gets major approval

Cambo Mega Lift Irrigation Scheme has been approved to provide irrigation facility through underground pipeline in partial areas of Mandar and Chanho blocks of Ranchi district. Administrative approval of Rs 236.20 crore has been given for this. With this scheme, farmers will get better irrigation facilities and agricultural productivity will increase.

Funds approved for conducting Ghatshila by-election

The proposal to receive and withdraw Rs 7.84 crore as advance from Jharkhand Contingency Fund for the conduct of Ghatshila (ST) Assembly by-election has been approved.

Relief to hockey players Salima Tete and Nikki Pradhan

State’s international hockey players Salima Tete and Nikki Pradhan have been exempted from stamp duty and registration fee on the registration of the plot allotted by the Jharkhand Housing Board. This decision shows the sensitivity of the state government towards the players.

Gift of road development to Dumka district

Administrative approval of Rs 44.93 crore has been given for widening and strengthening/reconstruction work from Barmasiya PWD Road to Shaharghati Road (8.13 km) in Dumka district. Apart from this, Karmatand to Bhogtandih (7.775 km) road project has also been approved. Approval of Rs 35.81 crore has been given for this work. This will improve road connectivity and transportation facilities in the area.

Relief in Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Housing Scheme

The amount of assistance given under Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Housing Scheme has been increased to Rs 2 lakh. Earlier this amount was Rs 1.30 lakh for IAP area and Rs 1.20 lakh for Non-IAP area. Along with this, approval has also been given to increase the target for the financial year 2025-26. This decision will help thousands of poor families to build permanent houses.

Pension revision for teachers of higher education and technical institutions

Revision of pension and family pension of teachers retired or deceased before 01.01.2016 in Government Engineering Colleges and Government Polytechnic Institutes has been approved.

VIP/VVIP flight service expanded

Approval has been given to extend the service of 2+5 seater twin engine Bell-429 helicopters being used for the VIP/VVIP government flying program of the state for 6 months at the same rates and conditions.

Approval of Jharkhand State Multipurpose Workers Rules-2025

Approval has been given for the formation of Jharkhand State Multi Purpose Staff Cadre (Recruitment and Service Conditions) Rules, 2025 in the state. This will improve the administrative system and clarify the service conditions of multipurpose workers.

  • Approval was given to the formation of Jharkhand State Allied and Healthcare Council Rules, 2025.
  • The decision was approved on the appeal representation of Dr. Ranjit Prasad (then Superintendent, Itki Sanatorium).
  • WP(S) No. filed in Jharkhand High Court. In the case 6611/2018 (Binod Lakra vs. State of Jharkhand), the petitioners were given approval for pay scale revision (GP 1900 to 2400) as a result of promotion from the post of Grain Gola Chowkidar to Block Welfare Supervisor.
  • Approval was given for the prorogation of the third (monsoon) session of the Sixth Jharkhand Assembly (1 to 4 August and 22 to 28 August 2025).
