Of course, now it seems that the village is cursed or that the men here die for some mysterious reason. So there is no reason. Many reports have confirmed that the men here died from a disease called silicosis. In fact, most of the men in this village work in the mines and contract the disease. They die due to lack of timely and proper treatment.
Most of the village widows do not get any support. As a result, they have to work in the same mines to feed themselves and their families. Sandstones have to be broken for hours in these quarries. The dust generated during carving can infect the lungs. Treatment can save lives, but otherwise death is certain.
Even after the death of their husbands, all the women here have to work in the mines to take care of their children. At Budhpura, sand stone crushing is done on a large scale. The silica dust released in this work causes infection in their lungs. Unfortunately, patients do not receive proper treatment on time, they suffer more breathing difficulties and end up with life-threatening diseases.
