A mum is splurging £15,000 on presents for her toddler this Christmas and doesn't care what critics have to say about it.

Jodie Weston kicked off her festive celebrations with a £2,000 trip to Centre Parcs. And now, she plans to surprise her two-year-old Koa-Zayde with weekly advent calendar gifts in the lead up to December 25. Treats include a £450 soft play pass, a Legoland adventure, Cartier bracelets and matching designer pyjamas for Christmas Eve.

However, this idea hasn't gone down well with everyone. The 32-year-old has been branded a "rich snob" by some who question why she's spending so much during the holiday season.

The DJ and influencer, from London, said: “I have had an influx of insulting comments from women.

“I don’t know why some people feel the need to harass people they haven’t met when I haven’t done anything to them personally.

“I’m not scared to be a unicorn in life and do things my way.

“I have had some trolls calling me a rich snob and others insult my appearance and think my clothes are inappropriate for a mum.

“I’ve also had women sending me the sick emoji.

“I think as long as you live within your means, you should be free to spend your money how you wish – and look as you please.”

Undeterred by the backlash, Jodie declared that those who criticise her are just jealous of her looks and healthy bank balance.

She said: "I’ve had loads of men tell me how hot I am. I get asked if I’m single every hour on social media...

“I think this scares women but I like to look good for me, I’m not interested in their husbands.

“And the fact I can spoil my son, as he deserves, probably also makes them jealous.”

Jodie, who once appeared on Channel 5 show Rich Kids Go Skint, is used to being criticised over her spending habits.

However, she claims she has been saving for months to make this Christmas season a special one.

Earlier this year, she said: “I have started buying the £15,000 worth of Christmas gifts to spread it across a few months – budget planning I call it.

“It’s like a weekly advent calendar that starts from late October till Christmas Day.

“I would love to continue the celebrations into January, as it is the dullest time of the year where everyone is down and dismal – and reinvent Christmas celebrations to start 2026 off on a high.”
