Mumbai, Nov 5: Fans of cinema will need to exercise a bit more patience as the release of designer Manish Malhotra's upcoming romantic film, "Gustaakh Ishq," featuring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh, has been delayed.

The film, which was initially set to premiere in theaters on November 21, has now been rescheduled to November 28.

In a social media update, the production team announced the new date, stating, "Mark your calendars, ishq has a new date for y’all (Smiling Face with Hearts Emoji) #GustaakhIshq is now releasing on 28th November, 2025 (sic)."

Alongside the announcement, a fresh motion poster was revealed, showcasing Vijay gazing affectionately at Sana as she playfully blows bubbles at him. The background features the song "Ul Jalool Ishq" from the film.

In addition to the lead pair, the movie will also star Naseeruddin Shah and Sharib Hashmi in significant roles.

Set in the charming environment of Old Delhi, the teaser of "Gustaakh Ishq" evokes a strong sense of retro romance.

This film marks Manish Malhotra's debut as a producer under his own banner, Stage5 Production.

Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film's music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj, with lyrics penned by Gulzar. The cinematography is handled by Manush Nandan.
