Kurukshetra (Sports News). The 27th Haryana State Level Yogasana Competition was organized at the Multipurpose Hall of Kurukshetra University, which concluded on Wednesday. In the senior category artistic single men’s category, Arjun of Gurugram won the gold medal, while Sumit of Jind won the silver medal and Jiten of Gurugram won the bronze medal. In the women’s category, Madhu Verma of Hisar won gold, Manisha of Faridabad won silver and Riya Rana of Panipat won bronze medal. Yukt Sharma and Kamal of Panchkula won the gold medal in the artistic pair men’s category. Jind’s Sumit and Abhishek won silver, while Bhiwani’s Sonu-Amit and Gurugram’s Rishabh Jha and Swayam jointly won the bronze medal. In the women’s category, Manisha and Anjali of Faridabad won gold, Diya and Komal of Sirsa won silver and Priya and Riya Rana of Panipat won bronze medals.
In the rhythmic pair men’s category, Rishabh Jha and Jiten of Gurugram won the gold medal. In the women’s category, Bhateri and Devi of Panipat won gold medals. In Traditional Yogasana, Bhavishya of Palwal won gold in the men’s category, while Madhu Verma of Hisar again won the gold medal in the women’s category.
This competition was organized in collaboration with Haryana Olympic Association and Haryana Government, in which players from across the state performed excellently. In the closing ceremony, former Minister of State Subhash Sudha honored the winning players with medals. He said that Yoga is now not just a means of health but has also become India’s international identity.

Karnal. Two boxers from Karnal won gold medals in the national boxing competition. Coach Surendra Chauhan said that Sameer and Angel performed excellently.

Panipat. The 46th Inter Zonal Youth Festival will be organized at Arya PG College from 6 to 8 November, in which 2000 participants will showcase their talent.
