New Delhi: The Indian women’s cricket team has received a special honour from Tata Motors. The passenger vehicle manufacturer has announced a special tribute for the team, following their remarkable performance at the ICC Women’s World Cup. The automaker will present each player with the first batch of the soon-to-be-launched Tata Sierra, marking a gesture of respect and appreciation for their historic achievement.

Tata Motors will gift the top-end variant of the Sierra to every team member, celebrating their hard work, passion and the commitment that took India to global glory. The company said this gesture is not just a reward for winning on the field, but also an acknowledgement of the sacrifices made by the athletes to reach the highest level of the sport. However, Sierra is set to make its return on 25th November.
