A heart-wrenching murder case has come to light in Bareilly, UP. According to the information, a woman strangled a man to death here. The woman told the police that Iqbal was blackmailing her into having sex and she was left with no other option.
According to the information, two days after Iqbal's body was found near his house, the police arrested a 32-year-old woman on charges of murder.
The woman told the police that Iqbal was a Zari Zardozi artisan who used to come to the houses in her village. In this way they started getting to know each other and both even exchanged their numbers. After this both of them started talking to each other on the phone. One day Iqbal asked him to come to his house. The woman said that after this Iqbal pressured her to have physical relations. When she warned Iqbal that she would tell his father, Iqbal said that he had the call recording and that he would destroy her house.
According to the police statement, the woman said, "I have small children and that's why I had to bear all this. He blackmailed me several times to have physical relations and I was fed up of it. On Wednesday, Iqbal had gone to drop his wife to her parents' house. When he was coming back, I talked to him and said I wanted to meet him."
Iqbal gave the woman two pills to put her husband to sleep. She said, "At around 8 pm, I gave tea to my husband. I put the pills in his cup. Soon after, he fell asleep while looking at his phone. At around 11.40 pm, I spoke to Iqbal on the phone and he asked me to come. He said he was alone at home."
The woman told the police that she was fed up with Iqbal's blackmailing. According to the police statement, she said, "While going to his house, I thought that I would either kill him or die. We were talking to each other, when he came close to me to have sex. I held his hands and sat on his chest. After this, I put one hand on his mouth and strangled him with the other hand. When I was sure that he was dead, I carried his body to the stairs and then came home. I I was very angry at Iqbal. I had no choice because I wanted to save my family."
