Besan Katori Chaat Recipe: Chaat is the favorite snack of all of us. This is such a spicy, sweet and spicy recipe which everyone likes very much. Most people are ready to eat it at any time. Although many varieties of chaat are made, today we are going to tell you the recipe of Besan Katori Chaat, which is a great option for those who want to taste street food but do not want to compromise with health.

This chaat is as tasty as Golgappa or Aloo Tikki, but it can be made with very little oil. Here is its easy and healthy recipe.

Besan Katori Chaat Recipe

Material (Besan Katori Chaat Recipe)

  • Gram flour – 1 cup
  • Semolina – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Celery – ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric – a pinch
  • Oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Water – as per requirement
  • Oil – for frying
  • Boiled gram – 1 cup
  • Boiled potatoes – 1 (cut into cubes)
  • Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Green chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Curd – ½ cup (whipped)
  • Green chutney – 2 tbsp
  • Tamarind Chutney – 2 tbsp
  • Salt, red chilli, chaat masala – as per taste
  • Sev and coriander leaves – for garnish

Method (Besan Katori Chaat Recipe)

  1. Add gram flour, semolina, salt, celery, turmeric and oil in a bowl. Add water little by little and knead a stiff dough.
  2. Make small balls of dough and roll them round. Then apply oil on the back of the steel bowl and stick them so that they do not stick.
  3. Now fry them on low flame or bake them at 180°C for 15–20 minutes, until they become golden. When it cools down, take out the bowl.
  4. Add gram, potato, onion, tomato, green chilli, salt, red chilli and chaat masala in a bowl and mix well.
  5. Fill this prepared filling in each gram flour bowl. Garnish by adding curd, green chutney, tamarind chutney, sev and coriander on top.
