The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has issued a short notification for recruitment to 45,000 Home Guard positions. Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Home Guard positions in Uttar Pradesh, candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognized institution in India or possess an equivalent educational qualification from an institution recognized by Uttar Pradesh.

Exam Pattern

The height limit for General and Scheduled Caste male candidates has been set at 168 cm, and for Scheduled Tribe candidates at 160 cm. The height limit for General and Scheduled Caste female candidates is 152 cm, and for Scheduled Tribe candidates is 147 cm. Female candidates must have a minimum weight of 40 kg.

Physical Efficiency Test
Candidates who qualify the Physical Standards Test will be selected for the Physical Efficiency Test. To qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test, male candidates must complete a 4.8-kilometer run in 28 minutes, and female candidates must complete a 2.4-kilometer run in 16 minutes.
