Apple launches its new iPhone models every year and now the discussion is going on about the iPhone 18 Pro models to be launched next year. Although, there is still a lot of time left for its launch, but many leaks and reports to it have already started coming out. In the latest leak, interesting information has been found about the design, rear cover and display features of iPhone 18 Pro.
According to the report, the company is considering giving a new and unique transparent or translucent rear cover in iPhone 18 Pro models. Meaning, the back side of the phone can be transparent to some extent, due to which its internal parts can be visible. This concept may be somewhat similar to the design of Nothing Phone. However, it is not clear how transparent Apple will make it. If the company does this, it will be a very bold and unique decision for Apple. Because, till now Apple has paid more attention to maintaining the professional and premium look of its devices.
In the last few years, Apple has definitely experimented with the colors of its iPhones. Like bright and pastel colors. But, the company always maintains a simplicity and premium finish regarding design. In such a situation, the transparent rear cover can prove to be a big change, which will add a new identity to Apple’s design language.
Apart from this, new information to the display of iPhone 18 Pro has also come to light. It is being said that Apple is now planning to make the dynamic island notch smaller and replace it with a ‘punch-hole’ display. For this the company will use hole-in-active-area technology. In this technology, the front camera will be set directly inside the OLED display, which will provide more space on the screen and make the design look even slimmer. Earlier it was reported that the company is working on introducing under-display Face ID system, but there is no mention of it in the new reports.
According to reports, Apple will launch the iPhone 18 series in the month of September 2026. This may include the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Air 2 and possibly a foldable iPhone. However, the company is planning to introduce the standard iPhone 18 model in early 2027. If this leak proves to be true, then the iPhone 18 Pro series could be one of Apple’s most futuristic and innovative lineups yet.
