The Lunchbox Released in 2013 The Lunchbox featured Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles. The movie beautifully depicted a love story of two strangers who fell in love by chance. Nimrat who plays Ila in the film sends a lunch box for her husband but it accidentally lands with Irrfan (Saajan). Soon the accident turns into a beautiful conversation when Saajan sends a sweet note for Ila making her feel welcomed. The two thought about how one could even fall in love with just words without seeing each other. 2. Chef Released in 2017 Chef was headlined by Saif Ali Khan. The movie was about recipes roads and relationships. A remake of a Hollywood film it tells the story of a single father’s struggles and dreams. The film was a flop at the box office. 3. Stanley Ka Dabba Released in 2011 Stanley Ka Dabba was all about childhood and favourite food. The storyline is about a kid who doesn’t bring his lunch. When teachers notice this they ask and force other kids to share their food with him. He is soon warned that he must bring a lunch box if he wants to attend school. 4. Ramji Londonwaley Featuring R. Madhavan and Samita Jaykar Ramji Londonwaley narrates a story through the aroma of food. The film depicts the sacrifices a person must make to achieve their dreams. R. Madhavan plays a chef who travels to America to pursue his ambitions.
