It's back to Premier League action for Arsenal this weekend as they travel to take on newly-promoted, and high-flying, Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The Gunners go into the game looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table. On 25 points from their opening 10 games, that puts them six points ahead of second-placed Man City.
Sunderland have also had a positive start to the season and sit in fourth spot, having secured 18 points from their opening 10 matches. The game will also see Arsenalreunited with former midfielder Granit Xhaka.
Success in the Champions League midweek means that it's been a quick turnaround for Arsenal. But Mikel Arteta has been putting his squad through their paces on the training pitch ahead of the game.
Here's a look at just some of the things we spotted from the images released by the club as the team underwent their preparations.
Gabriel Jesus returnsIn a big injury boost to Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus has been pictured in first-team training ahead of the game against Sunderland. The forward has been out since the start of the year after suffering a knee injury in the FA Cup clash against Manchester United.
He has now taken the next step in his recovery by joining up with his teammates on the training ground. Pictures show him walking out on to the pitch with Arteta as well as taking part in the session with a big smile on his face.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Arteta outlined his delight to have him back involved.
"I'm thrilled to have him," he said. "I think he's going to add something extra to the team that we don't have, and make sure that very soon we see him on that pitch making an impact for the team.
"It's about making the steps day-by-day in a different surrounding. He has been doing everything on his own; now he's got players around him, very competitive players around him, so let's see how he copes with that. But he's full of energy, I love the reaction of all his teammates when he first joined us and great to have him back."
The game against Sunderland may come too soon, but Jesus is a step closer to returning to action for Arsenal.
Max Dowman involvedMax Dowman, 15, is making a name for himself this season and will look to continue to do so in the first-team. The teenager came on as a second half substitute against Slavia Praha on Tuesday night to become the youngest ever player to play in the competition.
He has been in and out of the Premier League squad so far this season, with his last appearance coming as a late substitute in the 1-0 loss against Liverpool back in August. But he will look to push for more minutes.
Ahead of the game against Sunderland, he has been spotted taking part in first team training.
He was praised by Arteta following the win in the Czech Republic. "What he's done on the pitch - he comes in, the first ball he takes is he takes people on, he starts to dribble and gets a foul," he said.
"That's personality, that's courage - and you can't teach that. You have it or you don't.
"And it doesn't matter what his passport says. You throw him in this context and he is able to adapt and to have a good performance."
Five missing
While Arsenal have been given a boost with the return of Jesus, concerns remain over the injuries to five players. Viktor Gyokeres, Gabriel Martinelli, Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard all missed the midweek Champions League clash.
None of the five have been spotted in the training pictures ahead of the game against Sunderland. But it seems that they could be closing in on a return after the international break.
Arteta said: "There are a lot of things that have to happen in the next two weeks and everything has to be perfect, but I think we'll be very close with most of them to be in a really strong position."
