Recently, famous actress Mouni Roy also surprised everyone by revealing a casting couch incident that happened with her. Mouni, who has come a long way from TV to Bollywood on the basis of her hard work and talent, told that in the initial days of her career, a person had tried to misbehave with her.

Had understood the intention in the first meeting itself

Mouni Roy told in an interview that when she was new in the industry, an alleged film producer had called her on the pretext of audition. He said,
“I was very new at that time and did not even know anyone. In the name of audition, I was called to a hotel. After going there I realized that the intentions were something else.”

The actress told that she realized the situation and immediately left the place. She said, “I was nervous at that time, but I made up my mind that if I want to stay in this industry, I will never compromise with my limits.”

“New artists have to learn to protect themselves”

Mouni also said in this conversation that in today’s era, many people walk on wrong paths in the desire to create their own identity. He said,
“Casting couch has not ended even today. The only difference is that now people have become a little aware. New artistes have to understand that no role or work can be bigger than your self-respect.”

Got recognition after difficult times

Mouni Roy started her career with the popular TV serial ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, after which she became famous in every household with the series ‘Nagin’. After success on TV, he worked in films like ‘Gold’, ‘Brahmastra’, and ‘Made in China’.
But in this journey he had to see many ups and downs. He told,
“I always believed in talent and hard work. Had I been scared or compromised at that time, I probably wouldn’t have been able to reach here today.”
