Social media personality and men’s rights activist Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has once again become the center of online debate, this time over events surrounding her wedding ceremony.

Dr Nabiha recently tied the knot with her long-time friend Haris Khokhar in a Nikkah ceremony officiated by Maulana Tariq Jamil. The couple’s wedding video quickly went viral, but it drew criticism from social media users for her husband’s behavior during the ceremony.

In the video, Haris Khokhar was seen filming and taking photos while the Nikkah proceedings were underway. Many viewers found this inappropriate, saying he should have shown more respect during such a solemn moment. Social media users called the act “disrespectful” and “unnecessary,” with several comments criticizing his lack of attention during the prayer.

Shortly after the video went viral, Dr Nabiha Ali Khan made headlines again for her earlier claims about her wedding jewelry and outfit. She had stated that her bridal dress cost 1.5 crore rupees and her jewelry set was worth 2 crore rupees.

After receiving backlash online, Dr Nabiha later clarified that her statements were misunderstood. She explained that the high figures were a “slip of the tongue” made during a live discussion. “I was nervous and accidentally said crores instead of lakhs,” she said, adding humorously that “whatever I wear becomes worth crores.”

Her clarification came after actor Mishi Khan publicly criticized her for flaunting wealth, calling it unnecessary and insensitive.

Dr Nabiha’s comments have continued to spark discussion online, with social media divided between supporters and critics.
