The endorsement price of a top-level athlete has increased two to three times. Jemima has gone from Rs 60 lakh to over Rs 1.5 crore,” said Yadav.

India won the first World Cup by defeating South Africa

Chasing down the target, the South African team managed to score 246 all out. As a result, India won the match by 52 runs and claimed the historic title.
