8th Pay Commission:A big good news has come for the central government employees. The 8th Pay Commission may be implemented soon, after which a major change will be seen in the salaries of government employees. According to sources, the government is now preparing such a structure so that the salaries of government employees can be at par with that of private companies.
As per the guidelines of the Finance Ministry, the Commission is now preparing a framework by which the pay scales of employees working in government departments can be brought to the level of the private sector. Especially in positions that require technology or expertise — like IT, engineering, data analytics, science and administration. This will not only increase the salary of the employees, but young professionals will also be attracted towards government jobs.
The most important thing about the 8th Pay Commission is that now employees will get rewards and promotions based on their performance. This means that now every employee will not get the same increment, but the employees who perform better will get more salary and promotion opportunities. With this change the work culture of government departments will become modern and transparent.
The 8th Pay Commission is preparing to introduce a performance-linked bonus system. This means that the employees will get bonus according to their hard work and responsibility. This system will be like the private sector, where those who do better work get more rewards. This will increase both competition and innovation among employees.
The Commission has been given the responsibility to create a system by which skilled and talented youth can be attracted towards government jobs. Now the government wants that government job should not be considered just as “secure employment”, but it should be seen as a job with career growth and good salary.
