Fans have been eagerly waiting for Thalapathy Vijay’s son, Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut under Lyca Productions. Finally, we learnt that Sundeep Kishan is leading the cast and the film has been officially titled Sigma. Its first look was released, featuring him sitting on a pile of cash, hinting at an interesting thriller. Since SRK’s son Aryan Khan made a smashing directorial debut with The Ba***ds of Bollywood, fans are hoping nothing less of Jason Sanjay, whose film will be released in Tamil and Telugu.

The production house has stated that 95% of the film's schedule is finished, with only one song left to be filmed before entering post-production. The announcement came after a 65-day schedule of the film's shoot was wrapped up.

Sigma narrates the story of a fearless “lone wolf” who defies societal norms and chases ambitious dreams with an underdog spirit. The film features Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Sampath Raj, Kiran Konda, and Magalakshmi Sudharsanan in key roles. The soundtrack of the film, which was tentatively titled, JSJ1- Jason Sanjay 01, will be composed by S.Thaman.

As per a report in India Today, Lyca Productions' CEO Tamil Kumaran had expressed satisfaction with the film’s progress. “Director Jaoson Sanjay has delivered exactly what he promised. His ability to convert his writing into execution with precise planning makes him a perfect, complete director. It is any production house’s dream to produce projects within budget and on time. Completing 95 per cent of the film within 65 days, with an ensemble of talented artistes, is an incredible feat for a debutant director. We at Lyca are immensely proud to introduce Jason Sanjay as a director and foresee a very prosperous and long career for him," he said.
