According to some media reports, Meta itself has admitted that WhatsApp’s new web-based app may be slower than the already running native app.
According to media reports, an important feature is missing in the new web wrapper. Native Apps had the ‘Fluent Design System’ for Windows 10 and 11. Due to this, users got good speed and experience when opening WhatsApp on PC or laptop. But this feature is missing in web wrapper. Actually, these features were not present in the native app, but Meta believes that they may be important for the users. Web Wrapper app updates fast. Along with this, it is also helpful in cross platform syncing. Meaning, with this you can comfortably run multiple operating systems without any interruption. Till now several versions were being used for native apps. But meta in web wrapper will work on same codebase for all versions. In such a situation, whatever new features Meta launches will be easily accessible to the users.
