Dr. Vagish Gutin of District Civil Hospital said that due to change in weather it is necessary to be more cautious about health. During this period, care should be taken about clothing and diet. In the changing season, it is important to strengthen the immunity, for which green vegetables and fruits should be consumed.

Drinking eight to nine glasses of water a day helps in flushing out toxins from the body. If anyone has cough or cold, he should use a mask. It is important to consult a doctor before taking the medicine, as taking the medicine without proper testing can make the condition serious.

Effect of cold in Yamunanagar in the morning and evening

With the decrease in temperature, cold has started being felt in the morning and evening. This weather is affecting people’s health. After Sunday holiday, an increase in the number of patients was seen in the District Civil Hospital on Monday.

On normal days, 1500 patients come to OPD, whereas on Monday this number reached around 1700. Of these, about 500 patients were suffering from cough, cold and fever. Most of these were patients who did not get relief even after taking medicine from the chemist. On Monday, there was a crowd outside the rooms of the doctors mainly of medicine and pediatricians in the hospital.
