PhysicsWallah IPO: India's well-known edtech company PhysicsWallah Limited has launched its much-awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO). This company is known for competitive examinations and skill development courses and is now preparing to raise capital of more than ₹ 3,400 crore. The IPO will be open for investors from November 11 to November 13, 2025.

Physicswala's IPO will be open for public subscription for three days. The company's IPO allotment is expected to take place on November 14, while the listing date has been fixed for November 18. Its shares will be listed on both the major exchanges BSE and NSE.

Should you invest?

According to a report by Mint, brokerage house Anand Rathi has given Subscribe for Long Term rating to this IPO. He believes that the growth story of the company is strong and it has the potential to survive in the education sector for a long time. Whereas InCred Equities says that the company has expanded rapidly in both online and offline segments and profitability is likely to improve in the coming times.

PhysicsWallah IPO GMP (Grey Market Premium)

There is curiosity about this IPO in the market. Physicswala shares are trading at a nominal premium in the unlisted market. According to various websites that track GMP, the GMP of PhysicsWallah IPO is ₹3 per share. This means that its shares are available in the gray market at around ₹112 per share, which is about 2.7% more than the issue price of ₹109.

Glimpse of the company and its business

Physicswala is one of the top edtech companies in the country. It offers education services in both online and offline modes. The company's main YouTube channel is counted among the most popular education channels in India with more than 13.7 million subscribers. The company has shown a sales growth of around 97% over the last few years, although its net loss has increased from ₹81 crore in FY23 to ₹216 crore in FY25.

Price Band and Investment Details

Physicswala has kept the price band of its IPO at ₹103 to ₹109 per share. The company aims to raise ₹3,480 crore at the upper price band. This includes a fresh issue of ₹3,100 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹380 crore. The minimum lot size for retail investors is 137 shares, meaning you will have to invest at least ₹14,933.
